Cottages at Delta Campus
Summer of 2006 will bring new and exciting opportunities for affordable housing to the Windham County area. Delta Campus will begin construction on a 9 unit innovative residential development. We are looking to offer quality homes in a cluster development.
Our homes will be well built with simple details, balancing the need for privacy with the context of a community.You will share in the 100 acre open grounds of the Delta Campus. The homes will be intimately clustered with a common courtyard, stunning gardens, solar powered common areas, and wonderful views of our campus' green space. Front and rear porches, flowerboxes ,and heavily wooded surroundoundings make it a privilege to live in Windham County’s only ‘Build-it-Green’ community.
The cottages will range in size from 800 square feet to 1200 square feet with one, two, or three bedrooms. The cottages and common elements serve to foster community, safety and privacy. The common flower gardens, mailbox kiosk ,and sidewalks are natural places for informal meetings among neighbors. Covered porches to sit with your “eyes on the street” community policing. Neighbors look after each other. Residents feel safe. Windows are provided to allow for visibility and yet personal security. Parking is close by yet located inconspicuously.
